Post-Workout Banana + Tart Cherry Smoothie
I created this smoothie as a post weight training meal. It has a little more fruit than I typically use in my smoothies to help with muscle repair and recovery. The banana replenishes potassium and other minerals, and the tart cherries help to reduce inflammation an soreness. It’s also super yummy, so it’s a delicious post-workout treat. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups Unsweetened Almond Milk (or non-dairy milk of your choice)
1 serving Vegan Protein Powder
1/2 serving Frozen Banana (1/2 a frozen banana will make it extra creamy)
1/2 cup Tart Cherries (organic frozen are a good option)
1/2 cup Frozen Spinach (or organic kale)
1 tbsp Sunflower Seed Butter
Directions:
Add non-dairy milk to blender first, then add all other ingredients and blend until smooth.
